Am I aware of everything I say while in Hypnosis?

Yes.  In fact while experiencing hypnosis you are more aware than you would be usually. All your senses are heightened. You hear everything that is said to you and you remember it as well. The overwhelming experience is one of relaxation.

Can everyone be hypnotised?

Yes. Hypnosis is a natural phenomenon. We all experience hypnosis all the time spontaneously. All that we are going to do is make it happen rather than wait for it to happen. It is just the tool we use to make your therapy easier and quicker.

I’m taking medication. Does that matter?

No. I’m not a doctor and so probably wouldn’t know what your medication is, but I do know that it will not affect our therapy. If you feel you want to discuss your medication it would be best to speak to your GP.

How many sessions will my therapy take?

That depends on the problem you are experiencing, and the type of hypnotherapy we use. Suggestion therapy generally takes a single session, where as Hypno-analysis will take a number of sessions. More detail will be given at your free initial consultation.

I am using other complimentary therapies to help with my problem. Does that matter?

It would be better to finish your other treatments first. We could discuss this at your initial consultation

Of course if you have any other questions why don't you arrange an initial consultation at no charge and ask me in person?

Just call 01536 350328 or email: davidbalfe@hotmail.com
